Communications Notice

Dear St. Ann Parishioners,

The diocese received notice this morning of the arrest of Fr. Clemente Olvera Guerrero, CP on criminal charges connected to alleged inappropriate behavior with an adult.

Upon receiving that information, he was immediately removed from ministry in the Diocese of Raleigh. 

While Fr. Clemente deserves a full presumption of innocence until proven otherwise, his priestly faculties in the Diocese of Raleigh have been revoked and he will be returned to his religious order while this matter is further investigated by legal and canonical authorities.

La Diócesis recibió un aviso esta mañana del arresto del Padre Clemente Olvera, C.P., sobre cargos penales relacionados con presunto comportamiento inapropiado con un adulto.

Al recibir esa información, fue retirado inmediatamente del ministerio en la Diócesis de Raleigh.
Mientras que el Padre Clemente merece una plena presunción de inocencia hasta que se demuestre lo contrario, sus facultades sacerdotales en la Diócesis de Raleigh han sido revocadas y será devuelto a su orden mientras este asunto es investigado más a fondo por las autoridades legales y canónicas.
